Gym wipes are pre-moistened wipes for wiping equipment and for personal cleansing after a workout — made in viscose or bamboo spunlace, 20 × 30 cm, and 100% biodegradable. Riway Group manufactures gym wipes as an OEM/ODM order: your size, material, count and packaging, with private label printing and samples in 3-5 working days.
Gym wipes, and how they differ from gym towels
We manufacture two products in this space and buyers often confuse them, so it is worth being explicit. Gym wipes are wet. They are pre-moistened spunlace wipes used to wipe down equipment and to clean up after a session. Gym towels are dry. They are absorbent, disposable towels in renewable wood fibre, used to mop sweat off skin and to sit on.
If your customer needs both, run both — the two are listed separately and cross-linked so a buyer can order the pair from one supplier. If you need one, the question to ask is whether the pack is for cleaning a surface or absorbing moisture. See disposable gym towels for the dry product.
Why gyms specify a wet wipe rather than a spray and cloth
A gym is the hardest cleaning environment in a building. Equipment is shared continuously, the surfaces are a mix of chrome, painted steel, rubber, vinyl pads and screens, and cleaning has to happen between users rather than at the end of a shift. A spray and cloth asks the member to find the cloth, and asks the gym to collect and launder it. A disposable wipe asks only for the wipe.
That is what drives the material choice. The sheet has to stay intact while it is dragged across a textured vinyl pad or a knurled handle, and it has to hold enough lotion to lift a film of sweat and residue without leaving the surface visibly wet. A weak sheet tears and leaves fibres behind, which is the complaint that gets a product replaced.

Material: viscose or bamboo spunlace
Viscose spunlace is the standard. It is soft, low-lint and strong enough to hold together under a wipe-down, and it is the material most gym and hygiene ranges are already specified around.
Bamboo spunlace is the version for a sustainability claim. Bamboo regenerates quickly, the finished sheet is 100% biodegradable, and it is environmentally friendly at the end of life rather than only at the point of purchase. Buyers who place a bamboo logo on the pack should take this version, because the claim has to be true of the material that is actually inside.
Both are run on the same line at the same 20 × 30 cm cut, so switching material does not change the packaging specification.

Frequently asked questions
Are gym wipes wet or dry?
These are pre-moistened wipes for wiping equipment and for personal cleansing after a workout. If you need a dry absorbent towel for sweat, we make that as a separate product, disposable gym towels in renewable wood fibre.
What are gym wipes made of?
Viscose or bamboo spunlace, which is soft and strong at the same time and 100% biodegradable. Bamboo is the version buyers choose when they want a sustainability claim on the pack.
What size are they?
20 x 30 cm as standard, which is large enough to wipe down a bench or a set of dumbbells in one sheet. Custom sizes are available.
Can you supply them in tubs for gym dispensers?
Yes. Tub, box and sachet are all available, and the format is chosen to match whether the pack is used at a fixed station in the gym or carried by the member.
